I have an old Hudson F.40 hydraulic clicker press. it has slowly lost power over the last couple of weeks. today it will no longer push a die through leather. I need help trouble shooting the problem. There does not appear to be any visible leaks. It does have a phase converter which I had read somewhere is hard on the motor. perhaps the motor needs replacing? where can I find one? can it be swapped to single phase? Anyone with any information on these old presses, I would love to have a chat with you.

call  Manufacturers  Supply in St. Louis.  They sell clickers.  See what they say.
