Howdy all,

I got bit with the bug in middle school. Started several projects but just never finished. just like a lot of other things.

Fast forward 20 years.

I find those old projects in a box, my Mom had kept them because she just knew I'd finish em if she kept them. I did finally finish a project, that led to locating a friend who had a bunch of tools, patterns and leather. If I would come get them I could have them. Then my grandmothers tools were looking for a home and found me.

In that time I have started OverkilLeather.com ( that is not a typo, there are only supposed to be 2 "L"s.) Making mostly small items belts and wallets.

I have recently completed a new project, a full suit of leather armor. It contains 3 sides of 13-15 leather and about 160 Chicago Screws.

Don't forget if you have any questions just ask.

Welcome to the forum overkill. That's a good looking suit of armour there, great job.

You'll find that everyone here is very helpful and friendly, and more than willing to helpout in any way they can, enjoy the forum.

Where abouts in Idaho are you?

Ken

I could use that outfit for when I go into some of the pool halls in Detroit area...

Overkill...are you a re-enactor? There's a couple guys who frequent the same Tandy store I do, who make giddy-ups like that, but I've never seen a full body one...you must do full-contact battle huh??

Very impressive work!!
