Luis,

If you can find Blue Steel and Gun Leather by John Bianchi it's a great book. It's out of print, but you can usually locate one via the used book websites or Ebay.

If you are looking for something that will teach you how to make holsters and design your own patterns, then Al Stohlman's "How to Make Holsters" is very hard to beat. It's available 365 days a year from Tandy/Leather Factory.

It is well written and full of illustrations as well as some of the more common patterns (for th time it was published).

Thanks for information !

Until now, I made some western period insipired holsters (I'll post some photos later), but I want to make some "modern" (Bianchi style) hoslters and I think it is more complicated.

I'll buy these books, thank you very much guys !!

And about this book ? It seems to be a good source of information about carrying, ergonomy, etc

Al Stohlman's "How to Make Holsters", "Frontier Holsters" and "Custon Knife Sheaths" with Chuck Burrows (DVD), red or blue guns for holster molding, holster patterns or your own design, and a little workmanship and imagination, no more!
