Guest Report post Posted November 27, 2007 Johnny, Nice work, my only advice is to make sure in your seat mount that you don't have steel or billet contacting the leather. It will eat up the leather and make for an insecure mount. That is why I have such large spring holes in my backs and why the entire middle of my back is cut out. I want the springs and brackets to mount steel-to -steel. Dave
johnny7 Report post Posted November 27, 2007 Thanks for the advice Dave, Make like a 1/4" high, 2.0 dia. plug that is threaded and weld it where I want the mounting bolt to go, screw a threaded rod into it and butt the leather up to the plug. Never thought of what the spring would be doing to the leather. thanks again for the advice. Johnny
