Members Randy Cornelius Posted January 2, 2024 Members Report Posted January 2, 2024 I have what appears to be a "Craftmaster" Hand Press like Springfield Leather sells. Item # 011-399001. I have the dies for setting spots but every time I set one it makes it pointed like a nipple instead of round. I cannot figure what I am doing wrong. I have tried adjusting it. If I back off the depth of stroke it won't set it so it will stay. Too much and it get the point on it. I have had this thing for several years and thought I would put it to work on some spot rivet's but not having much luck. Anyone with experience with one of these please advise. I have looked on line for a manual but can't find one. I guess I will call SLC and see if they can copy one and send to me. Thanks in advance. Quote
Members Randy Cornelius Posted January 2, 2024 Author Members Report Posted January 2, 2024 I think I found the answer, The dies I have are for normal spots with the prongs not the rivet type.... I works good with the prong spots. Quote
