Knotnutz Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Ok - now that I've confessed to being here, I guess I should post a pic or two. First - 8 strand braid in white, with a silver ferrule and two turquoise Spanish Ring knots. Second one - black 4 strand braid, clusters of beads held in place with terminal knots and a 4 x 9 knot with an interweave on the handle. Comments? Quote

HorsehairBraider Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 I like how you've attached the snap - very nice. Did you cut the white lacing yourself? Quote
Knotnutz Posted December 1, 2007 Author Report Posted December 1, 2007 ME? Cut lace??? Oh no - sharp objects and I do not do well together! Prefer to buy my lace precut - that white came from Lonsdale Leather in Vancouver BC - and he brought it in from Birdsall Leather in Oz. I've barely got the hang of bevelling - and that is a simple 'set screw, set razor blade, insert leather and pull' operation! Quote

I usually have to cut all my own lace but they make some pretty cool tools that don't have exposed edges... only way I can do it. Well, that white lace is REALLY nice and has a hand-cut look to it. I like your work! Quote
