Vintage Fortuna splitter type 620 - questions

Hello, I found an old fortuna leather splitter. It has not been used for years but looks ok so far.

Electrical wiring will have to be remade and belts are dead but regarding the mecanical part, where should I start and where can I found a user manual ?
