permanentguest Report post Posted July 2 (edited) I have made leatherworking into hobby over the course of the past 4 years, but would like to do more with the craft. Are there any good leatherworking apprenticeship locations in the Midwest? I'm open to paid or unpaid programs as well. My ultimate goal is to start my own business, but I'd like to get some education under my belt before I start selling actual products. How did those of you who own their own business learn the craft? When were you comfortable selling your products? Edited July 2 by permanentguest

I'll look into these! For things made I wanted to start off making leather wallets and eventually scale up the business to SCA Armor or Renaissance Festival Armor for things like cosplay.
