spring replacement herman schwabe model d clicker

hello i have a herman schwabe model d clicker that broke a return spring. i was wondering if anyone here had the procedure for replacing the spring?

i have a new spring but im not sure of exactly hoe to go about replacing it. Do i thread the spring adjustment all the way out until i can get the hook out of the bracket and then spin it back in? which end of the spring to attach first and are there any special tools ill need.

Contact the guys at Schwabe in Ohio.  Freeman i think.  They sell and refurbish Schwabe clicker.
