Found on FB a Durkopp Adler K205-370, 15 years old, recently serviced for $750. All looks good and I'll be driving down to look at it next week BUT is it too much machine for what I'm making?

I work with upholstery remnants 1.0mm to 1.4mm thick, chrome tan, occasionally running 4 -6 layers under the presser foot. I'm sure the 205 and handle it but when I'm stitching a single layer of 1.2mm with a layer of cotton fabric and a zipper will the machine be too much and chew it up? Will I be able to dial back the tension to handle such a think mix of material?

Examples of what I sew attached
