Members AaronStand Posted January 12 Members Report Posted January 12 (edited) Anyone have experience doing a 794 needle conversion on the class 7? I found this thread that walks through the steps, but I'm confused as to how Jadu actually modified the press bar lift link? I purchased two spare lift links from Jacksew to modify, but in Jadu's photo the modified and stock lift links look the same to me.... https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/94377-singer-class-7-33-leather-sewing-which-needle/ Edited January 12 by AaronStand Quote
Members shoepatcher Posted January 14 Members Report Posted January 14 7x1, 7x3, 794 pretty much all the same needle other than the scarfs. That is the needle they used in 7 class machines. Did they go up to a 1000 needle? glenn Quote

Members shoepatcher Posted January 17 Members Report Posted January 17 Depending on what needle system is in the 733 Consew. . If going to 794 needle system form 1000, you will have to lower the needle bar since the 7 x1 and 794 are shorter needles glenn Quote
