Hello. I am a sewing machine tech, but I am stuck on something and I am reaching out to the community for advice.

I have a Juki 563 that will not sew less than six stitches per inch. I know that it has the ability to do four stitches per inch, but everything I do will not get it below six, including adjusting the feed graduation disc. The eccentric appears to be in the right place and the machine is feeding correctly. Do any experts know how to adjust the machine to get it to four stitches per inch?

The reverse is slightly shorter. Do you have insight on how to equalize them - and to adjust the machine to do four stitches per inch?

since it is a (more) modern clone of the singer 111G / 111w I´d assume it is mentioned in the manual. I´ll check my records.

EDIT:

Not sure if the 563 is entirely the same but this extract is from a Singer 111 manual - hope it helps
