So I've made a pattern for an armored dice bag that requires no sewing, and where I've, mostly, hidden the seams. Quite pleased with it! I made the bag out of supple leather about 1-2 mm thick, and the armor plates out of 3mm thick leather that I dyed three different colors and distressed to make them look battle worn. The bag is about 13cm (about 5 in) wide, and 17 cm (about 6,7 in) tall. The bag fits about 60 sets of six dice, so 360 dice total!

One cool aspect of the bag is that it always looks full since the plates hold the bag upright so you don't need to fill it, or have any dice in it at all, but the bag still looks the same. Awesome decoration potential. :)

If you're interested in making a bag like this, you can find the pattern with instructions, and files to either make it by hand or  separate files to cut the leather in a laser cutter. The pattern is available in two printing formats for easy printing in the EU (a4) as well as the US (letter size), and separate files (pdf) that are optimized for use in a laser cutter. All of the files come compressed in a .zip file which you can unpack with WinZip or WinRar.
