miniature leather fire helments

I have been contacted by a fire department to make some miniture leather fire helments to give out as awards. Does anyone have any patterns or suggestions on how to make a minuture fire helmet. This is the first of what I am sure will be many questions from me. Thanks in advance for your help.

I've never built one myself, but the ones I've seen appeared to be constructed of pieces that were wet-molded. Here is one I found on ebay... the seller posted several photos showing some of the details of construction.

There is an article 'Leather Fireman's Hat ' by Frank Zigon in MIWL Jan 81. No pattern only pics.

If my memory serves me right there is also another one with LCSJ 2006/2007. Too lazy to update so can't tell off hands. Just a few days ago I watched it on ' How It's Made ' on the Discovery Ch.
