Wife wanted me to make this for her daddy.

I used the tandy pebblers E294-04 and E294-01 for the backgrounding, and the normal beveler and vainer for the rest... the pebbler doesnt look as good as the one Clay used in his How To do an oak leaf" tutorial....

The finish was the Eco-Flo Mahagany antique gel. I dont like it much... had to use several coats to get the color I wanted...

I think the pebbling looks great. Good idea too, gives it a "non-slip grip" look.

The veiner on the border looks cool too, almost looks like lacing. Nice work.

Looks good! I think you'll appreciate the dark color after the first cans of beer foam over it....lol

Your tool work is " on the money ".

Is that your first time using the gel ?

I use the OLD FEIBINGS . Just scrubbed off my hands.
