Contributing Member wolvenstien Posted December 23, 2007 Contributing Member Report Posted December 23, 2007 Wife wanted me to make this for her daddy. I used the tandy pebblers E294-04 and E294-01 for the backgrounding, and the normal beveler and vainer for the rest... the pebbler doesnt look as good as the one Clay used in his How To do an oak leaf" tutorial.... The finish was the Eco-Flo Mahagany antique gel. I dont like it much... had to use several coats to get the color I wanted... Quote
outcast Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 Very nice work. I like it. Steve Quote
JohnD Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 I think the pebbling looks great. Good idea too, gives it a "non-slip grip" look. The veiner on the border looks cool too, almost looks like lacing. Nice work. John Quote
Members CharlieR Posted December 23, 2007 Members Report Posted December 23, 2007 I like it very much--the backgrounding and border go together very well--good job! Quote

Contributing Member rdb Posted December 23, 2007 Contributing Member Report Posted December 23, 2007 Looks good! I think you'll appreciate the dark color after the first cans of beer foam over it....lol Quote
