Kowboyboots Report post Posted January 19, 2009 I remember a good tannery in Riggins, Id many years ago. Are they still in business? I can't find them now. I have 2 elk cow hides shot this morning I want tanned. Any other ideas for someone rather close to Walla Walla, WA (250 miles). Thank you Kathy

MADMAX22 Report post Posted January 20, 2009 I had heard of a place up here in the bremerton area that packaged meat and tanned hides from your hunting kills but I think they went under. I dont know of any places other then that in my area.

I tanned my own back in the 70's but that was a long time ago an I had a lot more free time. Thanks Kathy
