Members tonyc1 Posted January 27, 2009 Members Report Posted January 27, 2009 entiendoSorry not to get this posted sooner. Here are some pics of finishing it. I used a different color of roo and it's a little smaller. So it doesn't look as nice as if I had stayed with the black. But I thought you follow it a little easier. Hope this helps Mike Nice clean fingernails! Tony. Quote
Members entiendo Posted January 27, 2009 Author Members Report Posted January 27, 2009 Take your time rawhide, I'm so grateful you are taking the time to do this. You pictures along with the book really helped me out. Hmmm, the book had me pull out the string from the first loop, or at least that's how I read it, then I think I did the same thing you did, hopefully it will hold...LOL I already put it on a show halter, but mine looks a bit like a rookie did it now that I look at yours, even with the 2 colors!! LOL I find it odd that the ends aren't put under 3. It's really hard for me to get past that since everything I do goes under 3 before clipping. Quote
Members rawhide1 Posted January 27, 2009 Members Report Posted January 27, 2009 entiendo I didn't want to cornfuse anyone so I did it just like the one in the book. But after I took the pictures and posted I did go back and bury my working end under three. Just so it would hold better and it doesn't make the braid look any different. But I do leave the standing end as shown. I haven't had one come out yet. But I reckon if a fella was worried about it he could use a spot of super glue on it. Tony My daddy always said if ya want to keep your wife happy keep your nails trimmed!! LOL But to tell the truth my nails usually aint trimmed and clean. Mike Quote
Members entiendo Posted January 27, 2009 Author Members Report Posted January 27, 2009 Well I must have done it wrong, it turned out OK though, just not quite a tight and neat as yours. I imagine I'll get better with time. Thanks again Rawhide Quote
