Here's a couple of projects I turned out for christmas gifts this year.

The wallet is a Tandy kit, and the notebook is all done from scratch. It was great learning as I've never done lacing before this and I found out how horrible I am at cutting out straight pieces. The carving turned out alright but I think next time I'm jsut gonna stick to antiquing it since I lost a lot of the detail I was proud of in the dyeing. I think it should get nothing but better from here :whatdoyouthink:

I'm not gutsy enough to try lacing yet, but it looks like you got the hang of it pretty quick! Nice work -- I'm sure the recipients were very pleased.

The lacing, although time consuming, is pretty easy. The problem with mine is that I suck at making anything straight so my holes are all way off and the start/end point doesn't look very good, but it was my first try so I'm happy.

I really need a space to actually work on this stuff. These were all done sitting at my computer laying things out on my keyboard. I would do the stamping with a marble slab on my lap lol.

Thanks for the reply :)
