Here's a couple of projects I turned out for christmas gifts this year.

The wallet is a Tandy kit, and the notebook is all done from scratch. It was great learning as I've never done lacing before this and I found out how horrible I am at cutting out straight pieces. The carving turned out alright but I think next time I'm jsut gonna stick to antiquing it since I lost a lot of the detail I was proud of in the dyeing. I think it should get nothing but better from here

I'm not gutsy enough to try lacing yet, but it looks like you got the hang of it pretty quick! Nice work -- I'm sure the recipients were very pleased.

The lacing, although time consuming, is pretty easy. The problem with mine is that I suck at making anything straight so my holes are all way off and the start/end point doesn't look very good, but it was my first try so I'm happy.

I really need a space to actually work on this stuff. These were all done sitting at my computer laying things out on my keyboard. I would do the stamping with a marble slab on my lap lol.
