Wil English Bridle leather wet form like tooling leather?

English bridle leather is stuffed full of different kinds of grease and oils and is very resistant to water in comparison to tooling leather. By that reason you can´t wet form it like tooling leather. That´s my experience.

Thanks for the reply. I figured that to be the case but was not sure since it is vegtable tanned.

It can be done. It takes a while to get it wet and then it needs to be left to case (I use a plastic bag).

I've moulded pouches from it and it can take some time to get the shape.

Also, it has a tendency to affect the colour, particularly if you don't wet all of it.

Try it on a few scraps and you'll feel/see the difference.
