Moderator Art Posted March 9, 2011 Moderator Report Posted March 9, 2011 Just buy a speed reducer from Ryan, Steve, or Bob, they work perfectly. Art Just for you info... I ordered the same.. off Ebay for 110.00 and am returning it today. Don't know if it's only a problem with mine, but the bearings SUCK, and it takes a minimum of 4-5 pounds of force just to start it turning! I can also feel the bearings grinding, and it looks like they press the axle/bolt through the inner bearing races, effectively ruining the bearings. Lousy design, or assembly, and I wrote a letter to say I'd be returning. Think I may try the 2:1 reducer from Allbrands instead.... Quote For heaven's sakes pilgrim, make yourself a strop!
