i'm enjoying embossing so far i'm trying on my own,but will soon buy a barr video i'm sure pete

rd thank you,whilst working it up n detailing, i use silly putty,i try to get desired height then dry. then fine to granule sawdust kinda mix with runny masters,peanut butter consistency,fill in void,overly a tad ,clamp down on flat surface 12 hrs rewet lea and detail.bit messy but i'm learning pete

Hi Pete,

Looks like you're off to a great start. When I first saw embossed pictures, I knew that was something I wanted to try, but I didn't have a clue where to start. I had tried the plugs like Stohlman did, but really didn't like doing those. I had to take a class or two (or seven) before I felt comfortable with the other method. Robb's videos are a great way to learn new techniques, I am sure you'd learn something from them, but it looks like you're well on your way already.

rd,duh,i just figured out yer question,sorry,the lea background is some ruff up chap stretched on a board,nothings affixed yet.the injun head lays in my palm.i hav'nt plann'd the finished work yet but i will post it pete
