What are you using for embossing backing?rd thank you,whilst working it up n detailing, i use silly putty,i try to get desired height then dry. then fine to granule sawdust kinda mix with runny masters,peanut butter consistency,fill in void,overly a tad ,clamp down on flat surface 12 hrs rewet lea and detail.bit messy but i'm learning pete Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

When I first saw embossed pictures, I knew that was something I wanted to try, but I didn't have a clue where to start. I had tried the plugs like Stohlman did, but really didn't like doing those. I had to take a class or two (or seven) before I felt comfortable with the other method. Robb's videos are a great way to learn new techniques, I am sure you'd learn something from them, but it looks like you're well on your way already.
