Members dickf Posted February 20, 2009 Members Report Posted February 20, 2009 Hi fellas! Thought I'd show this pattern I was able to achieve with a steady hand and newly acquired airbrush. Holster is unfinished - just dyed and molded, but I thought I'd show it anyway. You saw it here first! Quote
Members brinyar Posted February 20, 2009 Members Report Posted February 20, 2009 Excellent! Very nice dye job. Quote

Members dickf Posted February 20, 2009 Author Members Report Posted February 20, 2009 Thanks! If I had 1 more shade of brown, it probably would have rounded it out a little more. I tried to dilute some Fiebing's black with alcohol, just to get a faint gray color, so I could try the 'urban' color scheme. It didn't turn out well. The natural/brown desert look seems to be the most obvious way to do it, and the easiest without going overboard. Quote
