TinyL Report post Posted February 23, 2009 This is a prototype seat that will go in a motorcycle shop to do some free advertising ( hopefully with some success ) for me. I went with the black to show that black could be done as well as a tan color. My husband recommended I do it this way and after all was said and done, I'm happy with how it turned out. TinyL Report post Posted February 23, 2009 Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm aware that riders aren't going to be looking for geishas on their seats. It's really just a 3D ad that will sit in this guys shop allowing them to see what I can do. I would rather do skulls and the like. They are much easier to draw for me. I also wanted someone to physically pick it up, touch it and look at it and let their imagination run wild a bit. I guess let them realize that it can be anything they want ( if that makes sense ). With as many different customs and such out there today everyone is looking for something a little different. When they see something that stands out or may fit a theme as McJeep was saying they will buy it. Also dont forget about all the women that are riding nowadays, alot more then in past years (which is nice because then you can ride solo and still play around lol) they have different taste for there accesories then us burly men do. TinyL Report post Posted February 23, 2009 Thanks MadMax for that insight. Just this weekend I was thinking of how the female segment of the biker population seems almost virtually untapped. I think it's going to be an uphill walk (both ways) trying to get into what is predominantly a "boys club" but I'm looking into seeing if I could touch base with the female riders out there.
