This is a gun rack I made for my son for his birthday in 8 days.

I still need to put something on the back, maybe 1/8" masonite to stiffen it up.

Suggestions are very welcome.

Thanks,

Butch

Very cool. Where did you find the pattern, or is it an original?

Hey Chris, I didn't have a pattern, but I saw something similar on the internet once upon a time. So I just winged it from there.

Thanks,

Butch

Very cool and very interesting. My mind is racing, thinking of where you could go with the idea. Like, hanging those straps from a walnut panel with a routed edge, like a trophy mount type deal. Or, cover the whole thing with carved leather.

hmmm...... or, just hang those straps on your bed headboard or footboard.

Sandwich the Masonite with a plain leather backing and put them in the back window of one of those Pickumups posted elswhere. Very nice work it would have taken me twice as long at half as good.

Thanks guys. I really like the idea of attaching them to a walnut panel, but my wood skills are nil. Ideas, ideas though.

Thanks,

Butch
