brass line 20 snaps

I need to use actual brass line 20 for a project, but the only place i know to purchase them is from Tandy. Tandy only sells the brass plated line 20 snaps. In the past, I've used their line 20 black chrome snaps which fade quickly. Has any one ever used the brass plated from Tandy, if so, how long does the brass color stay.

I'd also like to know if there's an actual black color line 20 snap, not the chrome type but paint type, similar to the finish from the segma snaps. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know which snap is which,(big snap, med. snap, garment snap, spring snap) but Ohio Travel Bag has mostly solid brass snaps, and some come in black, painted or anodized, your choice.

Montana Leather Company sells brass line 20 snaps here. I think they are solid brass; if so, the brass coloring should not wear away. . .

You can also try DOT Fasteners for black snaps (I'm not completely sure, but I thought the line 20 snaps are also called "Baby Durable" snaps. . .?).
