Okay, all try this another way,hey folks,, i need help on a simple butt knot or cover knot.. can,t afford david morgans book .there used in this case to cover joins on two four strands to eight and then back to two four strand braids, make any since ,,, anyway, cover knot.. any help... also, can someone shoot me in a direction of how to do inverted embossing..I think i just need a inverted mold of what my subject is, case my leather and work it into it. Any help, thank you ,,, bluebeard,,

Try this site: Knot Heads World Wide Look on the left, there is a list there and I think "Tutorials" is the second or third one down. Very nice people on that site, and the tutorials are really terrific.

Your plan for embossing sounds like a good one, but I'd ask Clay this question on one of the sections on tooling. He's good at making tutorials. If it were me I'd probably just cut the pattern and then background it all down... but I am sure there is a better way.

I wish I could help but I don't know what your describing. Do you have a picture of the above mentioned knot. I don't have Morgans book either. But maybe with a picture we could figure it out. As far as the embossing go I'm no help there either. Wish ya luck!!
