Hedge Report post Posted April 6, 2009 Myriam had an idea for a tool rack. She's always wanting to build things, so I showed her how to use the drill press and hand plane. Here's what she came up with. For a first wood project, I think it came out pretty slick. I'm thinking of having her make another for me. Or is it something else? Thank you, sorethumbs. Yup, the top is a 4x4 of Douglas Fir. Don't know what the 2x4 (used for the base) are. Not bad! Now you need to cover the ends with some beautifully carved leather. Now that's something I hadn't thought of. Thank you for the idea, yaklady!
