Members slalik Posted April 10, 2009 Members Report Posted April 10, 2009 (edited) O.K., so this is the first actual purse that i made my own pattern for, I know it's pretty basic, lol, and the craftmanship not so great, but overall i like how it's turning out. However, this is also the first time that I have used ecoflo dye(not a fan) and it keeps rubbing off from the flesh side. Is there a way to stop this? Please help! Members Shorts Posted April 10, 2009 Members Report Posted April 10, 2009 Did you seal it? If not, you'll want to do that. Quote

Members Shorts Posted April 10, 2009 Members Report Posted April 10, 2009 But how do you seal it without making it hard? Thanks, Sara There is a variety of finishing products you can use without going to an acrylic sealer. A wax-based product would work well. I don't have the names off the top of my head as I use Resolene for the gear I make now. Do a search; Sno Seal, Aussie, and those similar items may be exactly what you're looking for. Someone who uses them can point you in a more specific direction than I can. Good luck and great work on the purse! Quote
