I have a never used Gomph round knife that has never touched a stone. A tool guru told me it was one of the early ones due to the way the name was put on in small letters. It was found in a fishing creel at an estate auction. My question for ya'll is what would you do with it, use it or not. I will try to post a pic tomorrow .

I'd use it, and I'd hide it when I wasn't using it. Keep a dummy out for people who need to cut wire, chop nuts, or open a coconut.

If you're not going to use it, donate it to LW.net. Here it can be purchased through silent auction with the majority of the proceeds going to help fund this site.

That's a great idea... I'd bid on that auction... Doubt I would win though!

This is part of my problem in life, I would feel that I am only a temporary caretaker and put it in a shadow box and hang it on the wall. And then when I die, somebody would just throw it in the trash not having any idea what it is.
