Members DavidCoppola Posted May 13, 2009 Members Report Posted May 13, 2009 Hi, great site! I have a Wolverine X2 jacket that I want to dye a dark shade of brown. I've never done this before and don't want to screw it up. The jacket has suede embellishments on it as well as suede stripes on the arms. The leather is thick cowhide. I've heard that streaking can be a problem and aso I don't wat to get any dye on the suede parts. Any and all help would be appreciated...Thanks, Dave. Quote
MADMAX22 Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 Welcome to the forums. I dont know if I can help much but, what kind of leather is the rest of the jacket made out of, or should I say how is it tanned. You said some is suede and the rest is? The thing is if its a drummed dyed chrome tan or similer type then you wont be able to effectively dye it I think. Quote
