gcollins Report post Posted May 17, 2009 Hi Folks, i bought this Old Singer 29-4 treadle machine, of course i didn't get the treadle i just got the machine! The plate that covers the bobbin and shuttle cock, there are several of what I call the double spoon, that fit the later 29's, but mine looks like a small spoon flatten, if anyone knows of a place I might look or has one please give me a shout! I also would like the treadle, but most likely, I will have to make one! If I can't find the parts to make a treadle machine, I will have to look for a power house motor that I can run on a foot control to control the speed. I will be great full any advice or help, I am going to call singer tomorrow and order neddles for the 17-23, and ask them if they have that cover Ha Ha Wish me luck!
