Looking at the pic ! worked out what it is 24" x 84" 1/2" thick £2.50 or approx $1.60 worth. Back packers sleeping mat!! obtainable at any outfitters , cheaper at Walmat ,comes in different thicknesses cuts easy,contact glues not a problem.. Compare your work to peoples work that are better and more experianced than you. I do this all the time. It's just like getting better at sports, always practice against someone better than you, and you will have to get better to try to beat them. If you practice against someone you can beat, you are not getting the need to get better. Practice, practice, practice......................................... It took me years to figure out that I wasn't getting better, just doing it the same way time after time. Good practice for me is to do 2 pair of spur straps with the same pattern, one right after the other. I concentrate on trying to make the second one better than the first. It's also a good way to see how you want to tool the pattern, or if using a different tool ( veiner, camaflauger...)will work better. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
