yourfriendjoey Report post Posted June 8, 2009 I'm pretty new at this, but have a lot of tools at my disposal. Teaching myself mostly, and having trouble cutting even straight straps. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with experience and practice, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or helpful advice on the process. It seems when I lay a hide on the table, and use a ruler and blade to cut, after the first cut it kid of curls on one side, effecting the whole pieces smoothness. Is there an inexpensive press machine available for easily cutting straps? Any help would be appreciated...
