According to my lacing book, I believe it is going to be called "Applique Lacing." I found it in the "Lacing & Stitching for leathercraft" book from Tandy. Good luck

I googled that style of leather and I think you are right. Do you have any intructions on it with pictures?

Here is some intructions posted by joann http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?s...Applique+Lacing a few years ago so I think this will do, thanks alot! for ID'ing the style for me.

I found two in the Bruce Grant book "Encyclopedia of rawhide and leather braiding."

Its called the type "S" on page 457.
