z0Z Report post Posted July 1, 2009 Hi All, I have for sale a slightly used Rex RX 607 walking foot machine. It includes accessories shown. I misplaced the spool pin when I purchased it, everything else is there. It works fine, but I will probably go to hand stitching cuz I will be doing holsters, sheaths, and maybe some tack. I am asking for $ 275.00, if interested just send me a PM. Thanks

Hi Kings X, As far as belts go, like esantoro, told me it will do belts, but you probably have to go with the monster wheel from sailrite, they are like 125 and they have a deluxe carrying case for like 99. The monster wheel will help you better when sewing belts. Now with wallets and liners since they will be thinner leathers you should do fine. It wont do tack or anything like that, but for lighter work such as wallets and stuff, you should be cool. I hope it is a safe bet as long as you stay with veg tan leather up to about say like 6 or 7 oz it will do that, anything bigger I would go with the monster wheel II. Thanks I hoped I helped somewhat.

Can you give me an email address I can forward to him and that way you two can talk? Thanks.
Regis Report post Posted July 1, 2009 I have the Consew which looks identical to this Rex and Sailrite's Monster wheel makes all the difference in the world. From only sews garmet to plenty thick enough for belts and more. Biggest weakness I know is thread size. If you go up to 138 that bobbin emptys really fast.
