Members iwannabeacowboy Posted July 4, 2009 Members Report Posted July 4, 2009 Hi I was at Harbor Freight yesterday and found a Drum Sanding Set 4 pc for $19.99. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/disp...temnumber=35455 Mounted in my drill press(tabletop) and for the first time was able to even all my edges up for burnishing. They also fit on the bench motor of my "fantastic leather burnisher" . The 4 sizes in the kit will work on a wide range of contours. I almost bought a belt sander but wasn't ready to spend that much. When I find my camera I'll post a picture. Charlie Quote
Members dbusarow Posted July 4, 2009 Members Report Posted July 4, 2009 (edited) Do these use normal sheet sandpaper or do you need to buy special drum paper? Thanks, Dan Edited July 4, 2009 by dbusarow Quote
Members iwannabeacowboy Posted July 4, 2009 Author Members Report Posted July 4, 2009 It comes with 2 of each size, then I bought a pack of sheets to cut down to size. I'll find out on Sunday if normal sand paper works. Charlie Quote
