SOSHorses Report post Posted July 13, 2009 I thought SOB holsters were turned to so the barrel ran parallel with the waist band of wearers pants?
Shorts Report post Posted July 13, 2009 "SOB" refers to the location the holster is worn rather than a particular style of holster. On the holster, clean and simple. I think I would round off those corners on the top and bottom on the stitch side. Since that will be the edge against the body, you don't want it to create a sore spot. troop Report post Posted July 13, 2009 i wore an SOB holster for awhile. they don't need to be parallel. i am right handed but wore a left handed holster in the small of my back....works out great actually.

Overall, looks like a good design. I agree with Shorts on the sharp corners, as those can be quite uncomfortable as well as snagging on the clothing. I like the fact that you have kept all of the pistol's "controls" (safeties, mag release, etc) clear of the holster; this is essential to any holster design but sadly overlooked in many examples. Nice work.
