I am new into the leather staining/coloring arena, so please excuse me if this is a dumb question. Is it OK (and/or recommended) to clean and reuse the wool daubers or sheep wool pieces used to apply stains? If so, what is the best way to clean these? Thanks.

I don't know of anyone who does, but I do put my dyes into a bottle big enough to keep the daubers in with the jar lid on (B&M Bean jars work good.). That way, they stay wet, and last a very long time.

I do clean my SW patches with Soap/water and Auto hand cleaners after use and allow them to dry,you can reuse them quite a while.I use a tyrap on the bottles with a picture hook to hang my daubers on that way you can reuse them multiple times.
