David Fields Report post Posted August 8, 2009 Is there a trick to using the rope tool so the impressions all line up perfectly? I've tried using a line as a guide like you do with the basketweave tool but that doesn't work with the rope tool because the tool doesn't have a flat edge. HELP...are there any rope tool pros out there? Thanks!
hidepounder Report post Posted August 8, 2009 You can do it by making a line, David. It's just a tool you need to practice with. You have to establish the angle that you like and the amount of overlap you like and practice maintaining that same angle. If you establish two lines...one on each side of the tool...that will help you maintain the same angle and overlap. Hope this makes sense..... RichardCollmorgen Report post Posted August 10, 2009 Bruce explained how to use the rope tool in an earlier thread. He gave a great explanation.
