Leather Bum Report post Posted September 4, 2009 Can someone tell me what type of buckle this is, and where they are sold? I'm looking for a good method to use for an adjustment strap on a baseball-style cap, so if anyone has other ideas how I can do this, I'm open to other suggestions! I didn't really want to use a regular buckle because that seems like it would look odd, but I don't know. . . Thank you. Micah
Mike Craw Report post Posted September 4, 2009 Hey Micah! I can't answer your question, but I can suggest that you look up Ohio Travel Bag on the net and go through their online catalog. If that buckle is currently available, I'd bet they have it. The only problem is that yoiu must have a tax number and a $100 minimum order. There are several folks on this site that order regularly from OTB, and may be willing to include your buckle in their order. Hope this helps. Leather Bum Report post Posted September 4, 2009 (edited) Thanks, Mike. Maybe I'll ask Spike, the Hardware Elf, if he has any. . . Actually, I think it's not really a buckle; it's just some sort of strap adjustment piece -- a double-loop with the center bar positioned lower than the outside two. ETA: It looks like it might be a strap tri-bar slide. . . Micah Edited September 4, 2009 by Leather Bum

Mike You're right about the need for a tax ID, but I just looked at my paper catalog, and it says that the minimum order is $30.
Mike Craw Report post Posted September 5, 2009 Thanks Tashabear! Woohoo, $30 minimum? Carlos and I will probably be ordering a lot more often from OTB now! The problem has been that their prices on stuff like clasps and hardware are so low that we had to order far more than we needed to make $100. $30 is a lot easier to get to. Maybe the down economy has brought their minimum down. Mike
