My work is influenced a great deal by Viking and Celtic designs - I am in a Viking re-enactment group in Queensland. I would love to meet other leatherworkers and learn more. I have started my own little business (The Happy Viking - of course). I've been practicing since 2006, and have recently started a business in leather craft called Epona Leather Works, but have not been bold enough to quit my day job like you have done. The primary product has been sporrans. I just sent you a note in your web site about a copy of a "free" Tandy Celtic cross tooling pattern that I have saved on my PC. Jim Ramsey Thank you very much Jim. That pattern is beautiful! Do you have a website of your stuff? I would especially like to look at other Celtic works. I don't like to copy other people's things but always love the inspiration it gives me. I have almost finished another bag - only the clasp is holding me up.
