Bryan Report post Posted September 24, 2009 My wife & I drove up to Napa yesterday to purchase my first full side at the Hide House. I gotta say, it was cool! The folks there were very friendly & I have never seen so much leather in my life! We walked in, told them what I was looking for, & they pretty much turned us loose. I bought their premium grade veg. tanned 5-6oz. & I think I got a good price. The one I picked is apparently European? Not sure what that means exactly (aside from the obvious), I just liked the color best. Of course I couldn't wait to see how it tooled, so I cut off a corner to see. What a difference! This stuff is nice! I was worried at first because it is so soft, but once I got used to it, tooled nicely & I was able to get nice deep depressions.
