Syd Report post Posted October 3, 2009 (edited) Hi Im just about to dye a tank bib that im making,i was wondering if there is any way of cleaning the leather first before dying,im looking for away to clean the leather without using a leather cleaner from shops, in other wards something i have in the house like soap etc.its just that i dont have any leather cleaner left and there is no leather shops handy. Madmax means like rubbing alcohol, which you can get at a pharmacy or grocery store, though I like denatured alcohol, which I get at a home improvement store.
