Members tattoosbyjay Posted October 17, 2009 Author Members Report Posted October 17, 2009 That is starting to really shape up, Like the direction that it's going. thanks i appriciate that i want it to look like more of a tattoo style in the way it would flowaround the arm , making it flow around the case, hard to capture it in a photo once all the harware is added i think it will look ok, this is my second carving so afr Quote
Members Storm Posted October 17, 2009 Members Report Posted October 17, 2009 I think that it's looking really good for a second try. One thing that might help in the future would be to use a modeling tool and smooth down some of the sharp edges you get after beveling. It can take a little longer but the end result makes it even more eye popping. I do like the fact that the Koi is wrapped around the body of the case like a tat flowing around an arm or leg. You do have a knack for the carving and with each passing piece your skill will grow. Can't wait to see her finished. Storm Quote
