AndyKnight Report post Posted October 22, 2009 Good luck with the heel shave! I quit using heel shaves and spoke shaves about 18 years ago now... I use these ( osborne skiver ) almost exclusively for ground seat construction. I have noticed the last box of blades that I got are thinner and I go through them quicker. Like Andy, I use the skivers and Bob told me in July to at least try the heel shaves and see how I liked them. I asked him about blades for the heel shaves then, and he said somebody was going to start making them. I think he said Bob Dozier, but not 100% on that.
