Members jnewburry Posted November 1, 2009 Members Report Posted November 1, 2009 (edited) Hi all, just wondering if anybody here has made any wellington type boots on their own without attending any classes. I have read that Ebook about 3 times now, and awaiting a book from Mr. Mckinney (been 2 weeks hope it didn't get lost in mail somehow), and awaiting info from Mr Frommer on how to order some literature from him. Just wondering if anyone has went at it on their own? I have been watching all the videos i can find, and seems ok on the assembly. Well I will just sit back and watch the knowledge come in. Or if there is a boot or shoe maker within a few hundred miles of Portland, MI. who maybe wouldn't mind a shadow for a day. Thanks, jim Edited November 1, 2009 by jnewburry Quote

Members jnewburry Posted November 3, 2009 Author Members Report Posted November 3, 2009 Thanks Blake that site has a lot of information, and a little easier to move around in than the HCC. It seems to be more along the lines of a boot maker and the HCC a lot more towards shoe, and this site a lot more towards other leather projects (this site being the most user friendly) thanks again, jim Quote

Contact Greg Carmack or Lisa Sorrell, they build boots for a living. Edited November 3, 2009 by wwwrmbbladescom Quote
