Members honeybeemee Posted November 3, 2009 Members Report Posted November 3, 2009 []Hi, my name is honeybeemee and I have been working leather since I was 14 years old (55 yrs. old now). Someone stole my tools years ago and I am just now beginning to buy them again. I have some pictures of a clutch wallet I made about 15 years ago, and of a clutch handbag I made a few months ago. I know the handbag could have come out better if I had used a pattern, but I did it from some ostrich scraps someone gave me, no pattern and off the "top of my head". Please critique my work. I want to improve my craft and I know you all will be my "teachers". Thank you and God bless you all!!! Sorry, I could not post the handbag, but I did attach a picture of a leather and ostrich cuff bracelet I made. Quote
Members Storm Posted November 3, 2009 Members Report Posted November 3, 2009 (edited) Welcome to the site. Affraid that neither of your JPEG made it through. Looking forward to seeing your work. Know what you mean about the tools. I had to re purchase all of my tools. I guess you coould that they were stolen too in a matter of speaking. My Ex-Wife got them and all of my patterns and books an so forth. I have some extra stamping tools if you would like. Just pay for the shipping after you get them. Drop me a via Email with your snail mail and we'll see if we can't help you out. Once again welcome and all the best!!! Members honeybeemee Posted November 3, 2009 Author Members Report Posted November 3, 2009 Thanks a lot, Storm, for the warm welcome. I will have to see about reposting my photos. I am not that good with computers, but I will see if my hubby can help me out! Thank you for offering to send me some of your extra tools, I will be HAPPY to pay shipping. My snail mail address is: B.D. Johnson, 1177 Clearview Drive, NE, Atlanta, GA 30319. Let me know when I can expect you to proceed with this transaction, and what else I should do. Again, thanks for the welcome and for the tool offer. Quote

Hi Again, Will start to see what I can put together for you as soon as I can. It is not that complicated to post a picture. JPEG format is the best and even then you should try to get the size down a bit. If it is too big it is hard to see. If your husband knows about computers and has something like Photoshop then that should take care of the problem. Also remember that there is a option to click on the image and see how she looks. You can also edit out the first image and then resize and re-attach. You will get it! Storm Quote Please keep in mind that unless I ask for anyones critique I do not want nor require same.
