tgidry Report post Posted November 10, 2009 (edited) This is the first time that I've done a project like this. I usually stick with small items with border stamping. I read up on this forum to make sure that I was planning things right. It didn't come out perfect but its not that bad either. At least I don't think so. One thing for sure is that among a whole lot of other things I definately need to practice with the swivel knife. I also need to get a couple of large barrel swivel knives. The small barrel ones from tandy make my fingers go numb. Also I'm always trying to learn so I'm opened to suggestions on how to do things better. Thanks. P.S. If there are any MARINES on this board... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! 11-10-1775 Tucker Edited November 10, 2009 by tgidry
CarvedOn Report post Posted November 10, 2009 Good job Tucker! Keep practicing and your knife cuts will keep improving. Mine were awful when I first began. They still are not the best, but I can see they have gotten better. Great subject as well. Thank you to all of you who have served in the Armed Forces. You are all a hero in my heart. Storm Report post Posted November 12, 2009 Looks good Tucker. I just came across the large tatto flash for this one. Just keep on keeping on and it will all get better! Semper Fi and go out and get some blackened catfish and banana fritters for me. Storm
